Sihui, Ni [1].

a study about the function of Cis adjusting element binding protein in the sperm cells of Arabidopsis thaliana.

Angiosperm pollen or mature pollen tube containing two sperm cells, one of the sperm cells and egg fusion to form embryos, another sperm cells will form the endosperm and the central cell fusion.
The research results show that the sperm cells have rich gene expression, but so far the study of sperm cells gene expression regulation is very limited.
We identified to a in the sperm cells and not in the pollen nutrition cells express isoamyl transferase gene, the promoter were found to contain a cis regulating elements, can determine the report gene expression in the sperm cells rather than vegetative cell.
This project will use single yeast hybrid technology to screen the cis adjusting element binding protein, and study the biological function of a binding protein.
