Kirchoff, Bruce [1]. A Free Tool for Visual Larning. The workshop will distribute a free program for creating active visual learning materials, and will teach you to use it. The program, Image Quiz, has been successfully used to improve student learning of plant life cycles, plant diversity, and organic chemistry functional groups. Results of the use of the program in these areas will be presented and discussed. Image Quiz can be easily adapted to any knowledge domain where there images play an important role. A few week before the workshop you will be contacted with instructions on how to assemble some sample images that you can use in the workshop. Images will be provided if you do not have your own, but the workshop will be more meaningful if you bring your own images. Please bring your Mac or PC computer as these will not be provided.
